This drawing that I draw from Hyde Park Rose Garden. (Black pen, Black and brown chalk, clear crayon)
the two pictures I took from St Agnes, Cornwall. I was hiking around this area, I feel this is great time for me to take a while, meanwhile, I can get a lot of research not just from London. I also like different techniques for painting that can make my imagination wild and unique. Beside this footpath, I am really appreciate the bench, because that can help people to find the best view, in case they have no patience to find it.
Sometimes, drawing can be easy, just black lines. When I finish this painting, I feel that more like a huge fish, open their mouth without let you see their tooth. Learning drawing skills helps me a lot for my subject research. I can describe my feeling for this object or words vividly, and explore how to create differently from others, giving people different views for this point. so that before I will start with my new project or from the beginning, I will looking for some useful drawing techniques that I can do self learning. Blind drawing that I noticed few years ago, but I didn’t know how to approach it in my search. I think consciousness takes longer.I draw this painting using white paper, black/ white charcoal and eraser.

This is dead rose I took the picture from Hyde Park Rose Garden. This is my first time use Acrylic marker to draw a painting. I feel it is really hard to use a new art tool to create a painting, but I believe this is a good way for me to learn more skills about drawing.
I like xixi’s work very much. All her paintings are full of a strong impact. She chose the flowers in Hyde Park and the sea in Cornwall as the objects to describe, and drew the world in her eyes from different angles and ways. I love how she combines different materials and painting methods in one painting. For example, use a combination of chalk, crayon and pencil to give people a vivid aesthetic. Not only that, she experimented with other painting materials and tools. Such as colored pencils, charcoal, gouache paint, etc. I also like her color combination and control. Even with simple color matching, she can draw well what she wants to express through lines. At the same time, I can see that there are many small details in your painting worth learning. For example, the waves on the sea and the texture of plants are experimentally combined with different painting materials and paper to obtain these beautiful textures, which make the picture look rich and not monotonous. At the same time, xixi also uses mix media to make experimental paintings. The uncertainty brought by such experimental paintings makes the pictures more vivid and fresh. My favorite painting is the third painting in talking colour. The combination of colors and different painting techniques gave me a great impact. Reminds me of dying cactus and deserts, oases.I’m excited to see these things made into knitted fabrics. At the same time, the painting objects of talking colour and talking pattern are different. I am looking forward to xixi combining these two themes to make good works. Generally speaking, the painting methods, materials and color selection of xixi are worth learning.
